Overview of Structure
  Mary Maguire
Mary qualified as a Registered General Nurse in Belfast City Hospital and gained vast experience as a Staff Nurse in A&E, Coronary Care and Surgical wards. Mary moved to the Mater Hospital, Belfast, as a Ward Sister/Manager taking charge of a General Surgery ward.

In 1997 she was appointed Project Manager for the Capital Works Projects at the Mater Hospital and other associated projects. As Project Manager Mary delivered on the Design, Infrastructure works, Construction and Commissioning of the Project. This also included major decanting of patients and staff, integrated art work project and specification and purchase of new equipment. Mary was appointed as Project Director for the Developing Better Services Project at the former Sperrin Lakeland Trust in March 2004.
Michael MacCrossan, Project Manager, Equipment
Michael MacCrossan has over twenty-five years experience with HPSS Trust’s in the Western area gathered initially in the Finance Department before moving into Project Management. Michael is responsible for the procurement of medical equipment. This procurement will include the completion of specifications for equipment and service level requirements.

This role entails regular consultations with medical and nursing staff to complete an ongoing review of existing equipment and new equipment requirements. Michael also liases closely with colleagues working on the design and construction of the buildings to resolve interface issues and ensure maximum compatibility.
